Last updated: October 2024 • Effective for all residential remodeling services
1. Information we collect
When you request a consultation, estimate, or design review with Oak & Mason, we collect the necessary details to plan and deliver your remodeling project. This includes your name, phone number, email address, home address, and specifics about your renovation ideas, budget parameters, and scheduling preferences.
2. How we use your information
We use your details strictly to provide remodeling estimates, coordinate architectural design and construction schedules, communicate project milestones, and maintain warranties. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party marketing networks.
3. Data protection & storage
Your project files, structural drawings, and contact records are secured using administrative and digital safeguards. Access is restricted exclusively to authorized project managers, designers, and site supervisors actively working on your home.
4. Project records & warranty retention
We retain project plans, permits, material specifications, and warranty records for the required statutory period to service your comprehensive remodeling warranty and assist with any future home additions or modifications.

Terms of service
Please review the standard agreement governing our design-build residential remodeling services, digital communications, and project workflows across Kennesaw and neighboring Georgia communities.
Design-build service commitment
Oak & Mason delivers dedicated residential design-build remodeling services tailored to each home. Formal construction contracts supersede general website guidelines and outline specific project schedules, scopes of work, and milestone billing structures.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website, requesting a consultation, or engaging Oak & Mason for residential remodeling services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, please refrain from using our digital services and contact our office directly for customized contract terms.
Scope of residential contractor services
Oak & Mason provides residential design-build remodeling services throughout Kennesaw, Georgia, and neighboring communities. Every construction project is governed by a distinct, signed residential construction agreement detailing architectural drawings, material specifications, project schedules, and line-item scopes of work. The website content is provided for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a binding unilateral construction proposal.
Homeowner responsibilities and site access
Homeowners engaging Oak & Mason agree to provide reasonable and secure access to the designated project property during standard operating hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). The client is responsible for disclosing known property encumbrances, existing structural modifications, and historical home details necessary for safe and compliant permitting.
Estimates, planning budgets, and payment terms
Initial project consultations and preliminary planning estimates provide non-binding baseline ranges based on prevailing labor and material costs. Final contract figures are established only through approved design development drawings. Milestone payment schedules are structured around project milestones (such as mobilization, rough-in inspections, and final punch list completion) as outlined in each customer agreement.
Licensing, permits, and warranty coverage
We secure all required municipal building, electrical, and plumbing permits for each residential project. Specific project parameters, structural specifications, and warranty provisions are defined and agreed upon within individual client agreements.
Architectural designs and digital content
All architectural renderings, interior design floorplans, photographs, and written guides created by Oak & Mason remain the proprietary intellectual property of Oak & Mason. Clients receive a non-exclusive license to use project-specific designs strictly for the construction, maintenance, and occupancy of their designated residential property.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Georgia law, Oak & Mason is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website usage or pre-contractual discussions. All project liabilities following contract execution are strictly bounded by the terms established within the signed residential construction contract.
